The Montreat College School of Professional and Adult Studies offers three graduate degree programs for adult students over the age of twenty-three with a minimum of two years of working experience.
- Montreat adult classes are designed with you in mind. As a Christian college, our approach to learning is student-focused and service-driven.
- Each graduate degree program meets just one night a week for class and one other night each week for study groups
Graduate Program Financial Information:
$395 per semester hour for counseling students
$485 per semester hour for business students
$250 tuition deposit due at student orientation
Books for all classes are included in the cost of the graduate program.
Financial aid is available to those who qualify.

Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
The Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MCMHC) degree program educates candidates in the history and development of the counseling profession, the theories of counseling, the ethical practice of counseling, the competencies required for working with multicultural and diverse groups, and the strategies for working with individuals across the lifespan in everyday developmental, behavioral, psychological, social, emotional, and career challenges and crisis.
- Classroom and online graduate degree coursework is directed toward the development of materials, resources, strategies, knowledge base, and attitudes that can be used in counseling practice.

Master of Business Administration
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree provides graduate-level training in the theory and practice of contemporary business management with practical application from domestic and global perspectives.
- Students gain the leadership and analytical skills necessary for managerial success in both public and private industry.

Master of Science in Management and Leadership
The Master of Science in Management and Leadership (MSML) degree provides adult learners with the tools and skills needed to excel as managers and leaders.
- Coursework has a qualitative focus that progresses from developing the individual’s leadership foundation to building relationships between organizational members and stakeholders to determining strategy for a range of organizations.
- Students do not need a business background, just a determination for leadership regardless of positional authority.
